About me and Prettyeasylife

I am Raquel, a mom, wife, dog lover, yoga enthusiast and manager of our home. I love cooking healthy food, made from scratch and, most of all, I love being creative. That seemed to be more available to me when I earned a living as a dance teacher and choreographer back in the day. It turns out though that creativity is in just about everywhere and everything, so I must say I am a happy creative creature in life!
I grew up in Brazil with a Japanese dad and a German mom – talking about an early start on embracing multi culturalism! For many years Canada is my home.

I also have a Psychology degree and have managed my own business in Dance for a long time, so I can say that I was always into trying to find ways to make life easier, for the business to run better and prettier, for the artistic part of my Dance studio! There’s where Prettyeasylife comes from!

All recipes in this blog are the ones I use all the time, tested and re tested over the years, I really use the blog as my recipe book.

All articles are expressing my own ideas or I would state otherwise.

Thanks for stopping by and welcome to a Prettyeasylife, which is what life should be,   right?

  1. Glad we crossed paths :). Want to get together and choreograph a dance for old time’s sake? Just kidding, I don’t want to hurt myself trying to do quadruple pirouettes like I used to.

    1. yeah I am paying the price with old dance injuries these days… I go slow with yoga flow… getting some attention with balance positions and stuff.
oh wow quadruple pirouettes, the pleasure of having achieved that… will stay forever in your soul!
